Screenwriting
Nobi began his professional writing career after graduating with a Masters in Fine Arts Degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts / Maurice Kanbar School of Film and Television. As one of 20 total students in the most competitive Masters writing programs in the country, Nobi was strongly influenced by mentors such as David Ives, Arthur Kopit, John Patrick Shanley, Tony Kushner, and others, as well as his incredibly talented classmates.
Credits include working with Jeff Davis (creator, Criminal Minds) on various screenplays and television pilots, including consulting for his show Teen Wolf (Season 3B) on MTV. He has written scripts and Special Edition episodes for the online series ‘Leviathan Chronicles’, which has garnered over 10 million downloads since its launch. He is currently working on a new half hour comedy-mystery series 'Chan & Holmes', which has been shopped around to various production companies including Abominable Pictures ('Wet Hot American Summer', 'Funny or Die').
